What is a köpebesiktning for a boat?
Köpebesiktning is a Swedish term for a pre-purchase inspection. Agree the accessible areas, haul-out, sea trial, systems testing, report language and limitations before appointment.
Can a Swedish boat be surveyed during winter storage?
A survey may be possible ashore, but covers, freezing conditions, winterised systems and an unstepped mast can limit testing. Agree whether an additional afloat stage is required.
What location details are needed in the archipelago?
Give the island, harbour or yard, access route, launch status and nearest practical road, ferry or boat connection. Include lift and sea-trial arrangements.
